Birdie Balou launched in August of 2021. Birdie Balou's inspiration and purpose is to create fun and functional products that can be used by those who love to golf, play tennis, play pickleball, and go to the beach. Quality products that appeal to those looking to add personality to their game.
Sheilagh Wilson decided to get out and ramp up her golf game with friends and family. Like many of her sport-active friends, she was looking for fun accessories and items that were functional, made using quality materials, and products that could go from the course & court to the clubhouse. Finding fun sports accessories was a challenge for her, with dark and drab colors filling the shelves, nothing she would consider purchasing.
Having worked in apparel & footwear development and sourcing for 20+ years, Sheilagh took advantage of her global network of manufacturing peers & partners and thus began Birdie Balou.
